Renterrific.com was started as a way to bring vacation property renters and owners together in a forum that would benefit both parties and provide valuable travel and rental management information.

Who We Are:

John Martin is the programming genius behind Renterrific.com. A banker by day, his true passion lies in database and web application development, skills he is sometimes called upon to use during daylight hours, but more often utilizes while the rest of the Midwest is asleep.

His wife, Lynne Martin, is the marketing side of the equation. She spends her time searching for new ways to get the site, and with it your vacation rental properties, out there in front of the vacationing public. Look for the name Renterrific.com to become more and more visible as Lynne puts her public relations expertise into action.

Which brings us to our qualifications…

John has a BA in Economics from Indiana University and an MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.  Lynne has a BA in Communications from Mercyhurst College and an MBA from Baldwin Wallace College.

And in case you’re interested in how we became interested in this…

John and Lynne both come from families who own vacation rentals.   They’ve spent years hearing about the ins and outs of vacation home rentals while owning rental real estate themselves. So, after offering to take over the marketing of an ocean front condo and a slope side ski chalet, they thought, why stop there? Why not help lots of folks promote their vacation rental properties while we’re at it!
